Quicktime Movies are far too loud ...

Hi,

i have a problem with my quicktime movies (.mov).

the volume control doesn´t take any effect.
all of my .mov clips are always at 100% loudness.
xnview can´t control the volume.

is there a solution for this problem?

Do you have a sample? Do you use quicktime codec?

It happens with each and every Quicktime .mov-file.

I use Quicktime Alternative 2.40
All other filetypes work fine.

I updated quicktime alternative and xnview - the problem still exists.
