Shell Extension thumbnail problem with Tortoise

Post by Aldamir »

Hello all, since some months, I have this strange ShellExtension problem with all pictures :

It is a real problem with big thumbnails.

At this time I use XnView 1.93.1, ShellExtension 2.10 and Windows Vista Corporate Edition.

I hope you can fix it, thanks for all your work.

Seems that the problem is ShellEx with Tortoise, but don't know why

Very recently another user has reported the same problem. Reason for the problem was also Tortoise. He examined the problem a bit more and found out that problem does occur with TortoiseCVS 1.10.3 but does NOT occur with TortoiseCVS 1.8.31. (I guess you will not use an old version of Tortoise, this is more for your information)

Perhaps you can contact the Tortoise developer team? (The more people complain about this problem the more likely it will be fixed).

Good news, the problem was fixed in TortoiseSVN 1.5.

I use TortoiseSVN 1.5.0 Build 13316 but the problem still exists. Is there anyone using TortiseSVN v1.5.0 Build 13316 with XnView ShellEx? Is it really TortoiseSVN's fault or XnView's? If it's TortoiseSVN's fault, I will contact will Tortoise developers too.

Thanks...
