Ghosting unapplicable options

Post by Xyzzy »

Hello!

I think that options that depend on other options should be ghosted if cannot be applied. I had a few hard moments exploring XnView because I tried using some option with no success because some "parent" option was not suitably set.
Fe. If Options->View->Only one view opened is checked, option Options->Misc->Open a window per picture should be ghosted, as it cannot do anything resonable.
Or
Options->Browser->Thumbnails, if Background color == Thumbnail background color, Flat style should be ghosted.
I think this would improve learning curve and general usability a lot!!! It's easier to look for an option to enable antoher option than wonder 'what is going on' and 'why the hell this option does nothing'.

Ok, thanks
