Hello,
After closing XNView, the process (XNView.exe) remain active/visible in the process manager (XP Pro SP2)
1.93.4: XNView process does not die
Moderators: helmut, XnTriq, xnview
Did you upgrade or install over an old version? Just curious.
XnTriq wrote:xnview (Can't view JPG file by using XnView) wrote:There is a bad key in registry, please remove -slide from:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\xnview.exe\shell\open\command
"C:\Program Files\XnView\xnview.exe" -slide "%1"
Correct is:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\xnview.exe\shell\open\command
"C:\Program Files\XnView\xnview.exe" "%1"
Note: Your program path may differ, keep your program path.
This problem still remains : process xnview.exe does not die when closing app and i can see a great memory leak (after 30min of use => 800Mo).
I'am using pentax Raw files (NEF) but problem seems to exist even if i use only JPG files.
Xnview was reinstalled on clean config (previous version uninstalled)

XnView 1.94
This is an odd problem.
Are you able to test on a different computer?
I had a quick look, just viewing files and and clicking around in different windows, and didn't find any escalating increase in memory usage. (Either User objects or GDI objects.)
And the process terminates properly.
