converting ace files

Post by alfredo »

Hi,
i have installed the linux nconvert version and tried to convert ace files. After converting some files a can't convert anymore ace files???
I got this messages: Error: This output isn't possible (not yet implemented) (jpeg) after this command: nconvert -o jpeg loco.ace

I'm wondering about this. The conversion has definitiv worked yesterday...
I could see the jpg's and bmp's from my last session.

Are there any ini or startup files possibly corrupted?

Regards,
Alfredo

Yes, for some files i have seen the converted jpg and bmp pictures and got a success message from nconvert. For now, i can't convert ace files with nconvert.
Loading the ace into xnview and storing as bmp or jpg works! So the ace files are intact.
Is there a way to use xnview as converter by command-line?
Any idea why nconvert is not working?

Ok, I have found the error - shame on me. I had mixed the -o and -out option. Sometimes I use -o jpeg and sometimes -out jpeg. The last works...
