Batch Processing - Normalize=Black screen, Normalize Ex=OK

Hi, great program Pierre, been using for a couple of years now. I have noticed a problem that appears in batch mode: Normalize appears to create black images as output, while Normalize Ex seems to be fine (works like Image/Adjust/Normalize in Viewer mode).

OS: Windows XP SP3
XnView Version: 1.93.6 (May 2008)
HW: Pentium 'M' 1.6 GHz on 915GM/910GML chipset w/ 2048mb ram

Also, why are these grouped under 'Map' instead of Image, etc? I thought Map was only to create a clickable web template from an image file....thanks.
