Could you be little more specific?
XnView Tweak UI - Tool to customize your XnView beyond the regular XnView options.
UI-less Settings - Documentation of all the hidden settings in XnView.
XFAM - Tool to create and customize XnView file associations.

Del ?

:) Hello !

• I assume you mean the DEL key ?

- If so, I confirm that one can't delete any folder (empty or not) with that key in the Browser,
neither from the tree nor from the thumb nails board.

- The only way is to use the right-click menu either in the tree (you'll get a prompt from Win to confirm),
or from the thumb nails panel (no prompt) whether the whole branch is displayed.
- In the two cases, the folder is sent to the Recycle Bin.
- When you have only the empty folder in the board, there is not any right-click menu…

And how do you reproduce it? You select a folder in thumbnails view and delete it? What's happened?

My steps

Post by Clo »

 Pierre

:) Hello !

• I tested as following :

1. Create a new sub-folder in a folder containing images, i.e.<Empty>.
- I did that in TC.
2. Start XnView >> Browser >> Main folder :
a. In the tree, the new empty folder is shown. Select it and press DEL, nothing happens.
b. In the board of thumb nails showing the main folder contents,
select the <Empty> sub-folder >> Press DEL, nothing happens.

• Like I said above, only the Delete entry on the local menus can delete that empty folder,
except from the board of thumb nails where it has no local menu…
- I performed the same test three times with the same result.

Xp-Pro SP1 here.
