Yes, strange request for me too, but probably not, in this case the request would be :
Is it possible to have an option to freeze the "re-arranging things" ?
(not only remove the arrows).
For me this is probably only a "cosmetic" request (like written above, a Display Suggestion)!

But in this case, for me the best way is to have an option to freeze the "re-arranging things", and if frozen, do not display the arrows.

Same feeling than others above, these buttons were implemented according to a request of mine I did a long while ago…

• However, the current layout (buttons in the splitters) is the opposite of that I suggested
(it was buttons in the fixed parts of the GUI that I think is more convenient IMHO), and can't be colour-customized…
- There were looong hair splitting threads about this, I guess that XnTriq-Mr. Librarian should find out the link¦s,
I couldn't on the moment or else I'll try again…
