bistable behavior: a Start/Stop Animation hotkey

Post by oops66 »

Hello,
This depends on which system, for example, under my OS Ubuntu and my customs settings, F5 does not work to restart the animation.
FI: Reopen ="Ctrl+r" works to restart the animation, but only into the View mode (not into the Browser mode).

It will be better to have a bistable behavior for this menu ( View\"Start/Stop Animation") and with an hotkey to have the ability to use it also into the fullscreen mode.

So I support this request !

Pure Win…

:) Hello !

• In that section, we are supposed talking of suggestions for XnView in (“pure”) Windows:P

• Anyway, there is a misfeature¦odness¦ :bug: in the display¦start of animations through the view modes, that isn't new…

- Here, when I switch the same animated file, i.e. a GIF as :   View >> Browser >> View >> Browser,
the animation doesn't restart the second time in the Preview…
- And you're right, it can't be resarted, it remains locked.

• Nothing against a bistable command, we have a lot of such commands usable with buttons etc. in TC but till today,
I don't know even one in XnView except the Grid - despite I requested that here and there…

Hello Clo, I disagree.
Of course not, we are only supposed to suggesting about the XnView Windows Version software functionalities, no matter the OS (if it's under Windows98 sp1 or sp2, Windows XP sp1 or 2 or 3, or ME or Vista, or NT or Windows 2003 or 2008, or Linux under Wine, or else...)

Or perhaps you want me to stop requesting things here ? - (it's a joke) :D
