make "browse for folder" resizeable

Post by fbachofner »

Until you have time to add suggested slide show features like those at
http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=16280

could you consider "quickly" making the "browse for folder" dialog box resizeable?

The dialog to which I am referring is in Slide Show / Add Folder (button).

Indeed, perhaps you could consider doing this throughout XnView (where applicable). The small (fixed) size of such dialogs makes them particularly difficult to navigate complex directory branches.

Thanks!

:) Hello !

• This “tree” box comes from Windows, not from the programme itself,
that I can see because the [OK] button is not translated here… while the strings remain always in French,
whatever language you set in XnView

• I agree that such a box is rather inconvenient, so at first glance I guess that a single solution could be applied :
Pierre uses another kind of Win browse-box, i.e. the one we have for “Open…”,
I am not sure it could do the trick, though…

• Unfortunately, you can't use a tool like ResizeEnable to enlarge the box because it allows to enlarge the useless parts
(the frame) and not the tree area. :|
