:) Hello !

• I sent you a PM but it seems you missed it…

• You can't replace the ShellExt DLL without renaming the old one prior…
- I explained that already recently to a user, maybe with the Search… ? :P

- The option you are talking of is not directly in the list but on the System Integration page…

and you can delete the old one without any problem…

Vanished characters !

:) Hello !

• In my text you quote, the extensions have vanished, so it's incomprehensible.
- It might be :
1. Ensure you that XnView is not running,
2. Rename <XnViewShellExt.dll> as <XnViewShellExt.dll.old> for instance.
3. Copy the new <XnViewShellExt.dll> into its sub-folder …\ShellEx\*.* from the ZIP archive.
- Because some mysterious oddness of Win, you can't delete the "old" file on the spot.
- The old library'll be used till you reboot the PC, then the new one will be,
and you can delete the old one without any problem…
• Point noted… :P

Sorry, Clo! phpBB ate the file extensions, because stupid me forgot to tick the checkbox to “Disable HTML in this post”. :|
