image mosaicing: direkt write to file

Hi,

i love xnview for its mosaicing-tool. I give it a lot of pictures and it will merge them together. But it always show me the result in the view. Is it possible to save it directly to a file? I am always useing it for very large files. Actually, it strugles when the images become to large. For expample: 28.000 x 7200 pixel is possible, larger results are not. Maybe a direct output would make this possible? So it can handle bigger results?
Or to do these tasks as batch would be fine as well.
