Re: IPTC edit dialog
The combine options (into v1.9x) are more confusing than useful for my point of view, and i do not use them.

The combine option is only for batch editing or with template...
Perhaps i must keep them, but find a better label...??

Pierre.
Pierre, the "Combine" options should stay, but should reflect concepts and wording in the MWG Guidelines.
This means the current UI for "Combine" needs to be enhanced... not an easy design task. Unfortunately I currently don't have any robust ideas to advance.
Except...
Perhaps the word "synchronize" would be good to use somewhere?
From my perspective, the "Combine" options are similar to file-overwriting options, only much more complex: For each Combine, there are multiple possible, not necessarily uniquely distinct destinations for the metadata.
As a user, I would welcome an ability to design and save a named "Combine" schema. The UI for such a thing could be in the form of a logic table, with options at each node:

But surely this is too "much" for the average user?
