1. Show thumbs in the browser.
2. Select a few jpg thumbs.
3. Perform a lossless rotation.
After finishing all rotations, XnView updates each thumb, one at a time.
Then, after refreshing the individual thumbs that were rotated, XnView also repaints the entire thumb panel (causing the thumb display to flicker).
A better behavior might be to...
1. Update each thumb as soon as the rotation of its file completes (i.e. immediately). This would give helpful feedback about progress.
2. Suppress the second, superfluous, browser repaint so that the browser does not flicker unnecessarily.
Superfluous thumbs refresh, etc.

You have perhaps a second refresh because you show only images? It's the filter after last thumbnail creation...
