How to make it work on Mac osx 10.3.9?

I am sorry to bother. I have been using XnView enthusiastically for years on my PC, and I was rabid to pass it on to my wife who has a MAC G4 powerbook with OSX 10.3.9.
However I simply cannot start the program:
I download the compressed file;
I decompress it with unstuff getting a file of about 30 mb;
I double click on the icon and get the following message (in italian, my english translation following):

"Non puoi aprire l'applicazIone XNVIEW perchè potrebbe essere danneggiata o incompleta"

"You cannot run the application XNVIEW because it could be damaged or incomplete"

Alas, there is nothing else to say.....any suggestions would be HUGELY welcome!

The version available is for intel not G4, i'll build in the future a version for ppc

I see...... it is certainly an obstacle with no workaround.
