AutoColor function in XnView/NConvert?

Post by durumdara » Mon Jan 05, 2009 12:18 pm

Hi!

I used Photoshop and GIMP for autocolor function in photos.

XNView is seems to be better and quicker than these programs, but I don't know how to provide this function in XnView/NConvert...

Have it same automatic function? Or how to make compatible function?

Thanks for your help:
dd

Automatic Color functions in GIMP is:
- equalize: http://docs.gimp.org/2.6/en/gimp-layer-equalize.html
- white balance: http://docs.gimp.org/2.6/en/gimp-layer- ... lance.html
- Stretch HSV: http://docs.gimp.org/2.6/en/plug-in-aut ... h-hsv.html
- Stretch Contrast: http://docs.gimp.org/2.6/en/plug-in-c-astretch.html
- Normalize: http://docs.gimp.org/2.6/en/plug-in-normalize.html

And this is the AutoColor in GIMP (as in PhotoShop):
- Color Enhance: http://docs.gimp.org/2.6/en/plug-in-color-enhance.html

In Photoshop I used 3 functions:
- AutoContrast
- AutoLevels
- AutoColor:

I sent a mail directly to you with two images.
As you see in the picture, that the sky gets darker, the white building is whiter, and the coloured flowers have stronger tone.

Possible same function is the saturation (30), but white is not gets whiter...

Can you suggest a function that working same?
(You can download gimp and you can convert 10 diff. images to see the effect).

Thanks:
dd
