Raw (NEF) file date changeable?

Year did not roll over in D90 camera. Need to change date to 2009.
XnView 195.4 'Tools/Change Timestamp' looks like it should change the dates in NEF files, but only does part of them.
Under Properties tab, File Created, Modified, Accessed changed OK
Under EXIF Date Modified, Date Taken, and Date Digitized remain the same.

I know the raw picture data should not be changed, but how about the EXIF?

If this is normal, let me know and cancel this bug report.

no, raw changing is done by free 3rd party stuff like exiftool
wouldn't want to add such complex stuff to a viewer.

Currently you can change EXIF fields in Camera RAW files...
