Inaccuracy of Selection and/or Crop tool

XnView v1.95.4 @ Windows 2000 SP4

1. Back up your active xnview.ini.
2. Create a new one with only these settings:

   Code: Select all

   [View]
   AppFitToImage=0
   Fit=3
   LockZoom=1
   ResetXY=1

3. Drop the new INI file into the program folder of your XnView installation.
4. Download this image and open it with XnView.

Test #1:

1. Make a selection with the mouse around the white square.
2. Go to Edit » Crop or hit Shift+X.

Test #2:

1. Go to Edit » Set Selection size » Custom selection..., enter the following values and click OK.
   • X: 2880
     Y: 2880
     Width: 640
     Height: 640
2. Go to Edit » Crop or hit Shift+X.

It seems to me that this behavior has been changed in the betas of version 1.96, but I can't find anything in the changelog.
