The files come either from an CANON Ixus or from an Rollei Compact Camera.
The movies from the cameras open normal with xnview.
When I cut it with virtual dub an save it to an uncompressed avi-file it opens as well.
When I save it to a divx or other compressed avi-file and want to open it with xn-view I get the sound of the movie but the screen black.
After changing the modus "fit in the window" I get the movie. Now Ican change the "fit in the window"-modus without problems.
I don´t know if this is an xnview or an virtualdub problem. Probabbly it has to do with the Codec.
I use virtual dub as its the only programm I found that can turn movie from landscape to portrait.
