Problem scanning with 48/16Bit

I have a problem when I try to scan an image with my Canoscan Lide 200 in 48/16 Bit mode. The resulting image in XnView is simply black!

With Photoshop it works fine.

I use the newest driver (V 14.0.1) for the scanner.

Any ideas?

You can't make a scan in 24bits?

Sure, with 24 bits everything works fine, the problem is only with 48.
