User-defined category

Hello to all here,
is it possible to make own categories which i can klick in a tree?
I know there is a tree with Bilder, Fotorgrafieren etc. but i need other categories.

In the category tree, you can create new categories with right mouse click "New category" (German: "Neue Kategorie").

1. With menu "View > Tree pane > Categories" you switch to categories.
2. Select a category or the top category "Category"
3. Right click the mouse, the context menu will appear with menu item "New category" (see screenshot in marsh's post above)
