when creating a file listing and selecting "copy to clipboard", it still opens editor with the listing. IMO this is very unnecessary. If I want clipboard, the editor should NOT open!! Present behavior paradox...
Could you please correct it?

Re: file listing -> copy to clipboard

• On one hand - and on principle - I agree, this behaviour is illogical and unwanted to me as well,
- On the other hand, we miss choices to set what is to copy, I mean :
File-names only ? Plus path? Plus details ? In the network ?
• Well, I can get these options directly in Total Commander with which I manage my files preferably,
but at least we might have INI options to fine-tune which indications we want to be copied into the Clipboard…
…indeed either without opening the editor, or with a flag to open it when some users like¦need this !

• It should need a new specialized INI entry and set prior :
CopyClipboard=1, then :
CopyFileListToClip=Flag
where “Flag” is set as a sum of numbers chosen fom the following ones :
1: Copy file-names only,
2 : Copy also full paths,
4 : Copy also details (dates, sizes, attributes…),
8 : Displays the list in the default text editor,
16 : Copy as network file-names.
