I am using Linux Mandrake 9.2. Libwmf0.2.8-4mdk is installed, but I didn't find the program wmftogif (not even as root). How could I get it? There are some other programs around (wmf2eps wmf2fig wmf2gd wmf2svg wmf2x). Is there another solution for this problem? I don't know if this is a bug or a linux newbie in front of the screen

Do I need any external lib or program to view WMF in XnView (both Linux and Windows)? And how about other files? Which need an external program or library?
I have just discovered the wonders of xnview (Merci Pierre) after exploring many image viewers. Its size, speed, simplicity and abilites are amazing. However, I have discovered this same wmf problem. I tried linking to wmf2gd (which converts to gif apparently, in the latest libwmf) with wmftogif but still xnview says it does not know how to read the wmf file. What is the current situation with this? My family use wmf clipart quite a lot and being able to view and easily convert them for use is a huge bonus.
