Thumbnail not updated after altering picture

Hallo, everyone,
I need help for the following problem:
The browser thumbnails do not show alterations to the pictures. As a consequence i have e.g. three identical thumbs in the browser, which in reality ought to show three stages of modifications.

• I assume that you are using “Embedded Thumb nail”, so they are not modified, only the main part of the picture is…
- Go to : Options (F12) Thumbnail (under Browser in the list) and untick the box
[ ] Use embedded Thumbnail >> [OK]
- It might do the trick …

Try this:

After following Clo's instructions...

Select the three thumbs, display right-click context menu, select "Rebuild thumbnails"

Thanks a lot, it worked!

Nevertheless it is unsatisfactory.Many of the pictures I download, I use to slightly improve. That means a lot of wrong thumbnails which will not easy selections.
Isn't there a means of basically sttling this matter?

Further tipps will be appreciated.
