With images getting bigger and bigger along with CPU-power and RAM size, i think it makes sense to let XNView make more use of those resources in order to speed up viewing and thus improve the user experience. That's why i'm asking for a feature to pre-load (and cache) more images, when skipping through them in the viewer. It already does cache and pre-load one image, so it shouldn't be that hard to do, or is it? How many images should be preloaded is up for debate, but i guess having it as an option will be the common denominator.
I'm picturing a speed where the images change as quickly as you spin the mouse wheel.

Get the bugs fixed, THEN start adding features. It sucks, but someone has to do it.
