MP 0.21 Win: Thumbstrip visibility issue in Compare

If you have used the splitter to hide the Compare thumbstrip, then the new "Thumbnails" check box ceases to control thumbstrip visibility.

To reproduce:

1. Compare two files
2. Display the thumbstrip by enabling the "Thumbnails" check box
3. Use the splitter to hide the thumbstrip
4. Notice "Thumbnails" selector is still enabled (checked)
5. Toggle "Thumbnails" selector to observe bug
