XnView video thumbnails rotated

Hi. I'm running XnView 1.94.2 on Vista.
I've got all my video clip thumbnails suddenly rotated by 90 degrees for some reason, as well as when playing the videos, they play upside down. I don't have any idea how it happened, but I've been all day searching for the way to get them rotated back as they were, in vain.
I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, uninstalled and updated to version 1.96.5, that didn't change anything with the clips playing upside down.
Xnview 1.94.2 running on my XP Athlon desktop has no problem, works wonderfully. It's the one on my Acer Pentium Duo laptop running Vista that has the problem.
I love XnView, especially for viewing all my .xcf Gimp images.

• Hence, I assume that this isn't XnView related, but rather a codec¦video card¦video driver issue in your laptop…
- Is there some Portrait¦Landscape possible display choice on this laptop ?
- Just a thought… I've a feeling to have heard this already (video upside down), but can't remember where on the moment…

You were absolutely right! It turned out to be a program named "ffdshow video decoder" that had a "flip" feature enabled! I discovered it when I ran my webcam and found my image rotated 90 degrees!
