Sometimes it is very useful to zoom selected area of image to screen, but it seems that there is no way to do it in XnView currently.
Adding this option to right click menu would be quite useful.

Yes, I think it is the same request as here, and if it's the case: +1 I agree for all Modes ( FullScreen, Browser Preview, and View ) !xnview wrote:You would like to zoom a selected area?

FI: Personally I think, than sketch a square with the mouse to" zoom in" automatically on the screen is better than to have to do a right click menu mouse to choose this option....sketch a square with the mouse --> to zoom in and fit this area into the window (I hope in a future XnView version too) ???
And into the View Mode, the "sketch a square for the Crop function" can be made via : "Ctrl +Mouse ( sketch the square)"

Re: Zoom selection to screen
Why not, Crtl + Left Mouse button (to sketch the square) is OK for me to proportionally enlarge the selected area to fit the window or fit the screen in FullScreenMode, (even if I prefer an automatic behavior for this kind of zoom function without to have to do a "Ctrl" or else... to zoom in - for an ergonomic aspect). http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.p ... 638#p79638
