I have been generating a lot of wide panorama images by stitching individual camera-images.
When viewed with the slide-show option, the images aren't as impressive
as compared to slowly scrolling the entire panorama image horizontaly, with its height stretched maximally.
I was wondering how difficult this would be to implement in the slide-show option.
(currently there are only 3 "options" none / crossfading - or - / all effects)
To get an idea what I mean:

After 1 full scroll the slide-show could advance to the next image

Re: new slide-show effect
Thanks for these links XnTriq,
I wasn't aware of these items.
So since roughly 2006 there has'nt been any updates on these slide-show effects ?
I like, next to my own suggestion, also the "Ken Burns" transition very much.
Too bad that the slide-show effects cannot be expanded using plugins !

I know what you are thinking of:
http://www.sbg.at/salzkammergut/claudia_wohnung/
Here is a very simple Website.
I have all the code integrated in the html. You can use it, but it is javascript
Just click right on the background of the site and choose "source code"
Perhaps this javascript-code helps to implement it in XNView
This is something I am not able to
