New option to exclude files please

First, Xnview is so great. I tell everyone I know to use it.

One feature I would like to see added is to allow certain filenames to be excluded from a search.

In other words, Xnview -> Tools -> Search has several options, but not an "exclude" option (e.g. if I don't want to see IMG*.JPG, but I want to see the rest).

How can I know if this will be implemented?

• I use rarely the Search function in XnView… I attempted the method of Total Commander, which is to use the following syntax in the upper field (doesn't need any tick-box¦extra field ):

*.bmp|*.png
Find|Exclude

- Alas, it doesn't work… IIRC, I proposed this some centuries ago, but it's not implemented yet. Maybe do I miss something too ?
