I received a .pi2 image file, and would like to convert it to something I can see and use. (it is encrypted and I can't open or view it).
I downloaded the XnView and NConvert, but havent had any luck in converting the file format, although the website lists this as a Degas or Degas Elite and includes this as a format support for converting.
So..any suggestions?
Thanks.
Trying to convert pi2 to something...

Re: new user trying to convert pi2 to something...
I too am having exactly this issue with a pi2 file. Yes, it is from Portrait innovations. I am using Mac OSX. I tried to convert the file using a basic command... "nconvert -out jpeg filename.pi2" and i receive the error... "Error:Can't open file (filename.pi2)".
Does the original file to be converted need to be in a specific location? Or is there another solution?
Thank you very much for any help.

PI2 format from portrait innovations is a closed format and can't be converted
