Hi... I did a search for icons, didn't find what I'm suggesting...
Since XnView is a graphics program, and the first view of the program shows graphics/icons of all kinds of files/programs.... and lets you double click images to view them, instead of a thumbnail...
...I thought it would be nice if XnView would allow for the extraction of the file/program icon images. I guess that's a 'resource' of the file/program shortcut, exe, whatever. Seems we can view the icons, but not do anything with their graphics... double-clicking starts the program/file, and right-clicking has no option to extract the icon image.
As a graphics viewer, organiser, converter... I'd think XnView should just grab all the graphics it can see/view, and allow access to them.
Just a thought...
(off topic: I found it odd that 'search' is ony available to registered forum members... I think this is the first forum I've visited that didn't provide 'search' to 'guests'/visitors.)
