Hello,
XnView version : 1.97.2 for Windows 32 bits
Module : file explorer
Config :
General / ICC -> use ICC profiles. Screen profile selected. Default : use sRGB. Rendering : relative colorimetric.
Writing / Jpeg -> Progressive ON. Huffman OFF. Quality 96. Keep exif ON. Keep IPTC ON. Keep XMP OFF. Keep ICC ON. Rebuild thumbnail ON. Use estimated quality OFF. DTC slow. Smoothing 0. Subsampling 4:2:2.
Test data : TIFF picture with sRGB profile.
Action : right-click on the thumbnail and choose "Convert into... jpeg" (Convertir en... jpeg).
Expected behaviour : the picture is converted into jpeg.
Observed result : the picture is first converted from sRGB into the display profile, then converted into jpeg. Actually, it is the onscreen displayed picture, after the ICC conversion have been performed for the display, that is converted into jpeg, instead of the original TIFF picture.
This problem affects only the "Convert into" action. The "Convert..." action (Convertir...), used for batch convertion, does not have the problem.
Jpeg conversion transforms colors into icc display profile
