Some behaviour app settings (for XnView MP)

Under the new XnView MP I would like to see the following options added in Options>General:

-Minimize XnView to the system tray
or
-Close XnView to system tray

-Always launch XnView in the system tray (no file)
-Display tray pop-up notifications
-Confirm Exit of XnView

'Confirm Exit of XnView': Here is my mock-up of what the controls would look like:


this is what it could look like (notice the 16x16 window icon)


'Display tray pop-up notifications': this visual message when selecting either 'minimize' or 'close' to tray:


'Display tray pop-up notifications': this visual message when selecting 'Always launch XnView in the system tray'


I think Mac and Linux users could utilize the "confirm exit" option but obviously the system tray options would be for Win only that's if the other OS's can't offer them. The most important thing in my request is having these as the option and all of these being disabled by default so that users don't complain and have full control.


What do you all think? Have a think about it and share your feedback

And in the other first posted picture it reads "conform" I meant to write "Confirm" so it would read 'Confirm Exit of XnView' ..In any language

Still needed for future XnView MP version:


• Always display in system tray (Windows only)
• Run in background process after program closing
• Run in background process on system Startup

(the last two above would be Cross-Platform supported )

To this (this looks much better IMO);

Since XnViewMP 0.48 we now have the "Sessions" saving prompt which acts as this.

Probably these could be considered for Ini Tweaks first and then later (if successful) added to the Settings??
