Hi,
while using xnview for watching vids in the preview area the program freezes and even crashes nearly every time after a while.
I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
4 Gb Ram, AMD Phenom II 905e.
I have a quite huge collection of vids.
With Xnview 1.97.2 i'm organizing this vids.
The vids are of variable size and extension.
Normally it is avi, mp4, wmv - and from time to time flv, mov or ram.
After an update on the newest version FLV and mp4-vidoes does not appear in the preview window.
Sometimes i can preview about 50 vids before the program freezes - sometimes it freezes after 3 vids.
The memory usage never exceeds 200Mb.
When XnView freezes it normally takes about 1 minute and it works again.
Sometimes it freezes completely - and even by killing the progress via task manager it won't disappear. In many cases the process is not killable.
Is this a general problem or can i fix it somehow?

Re: Irregular freezes during video preview
No.
It is absolute irregular and unpredictable.
It's like playing lottery.
You can be a lucky and it works fine for some dozen vids - or you're unlucky and it freezes after 5 vids or so.
I can't recognize any scheme.
Even if i preview the same vids in the same order XnView doesn't behave the same way every time.
