File size not shown for non-image files

In thumbs and labels view the file size is not shown for non image files. I'm not 100% sure it's a bug, but I think the size should be shown for all files.

Folder shown is cached.

Not sure how to answer your other question. 4 checks enabled in the video item row of the file list.

My guess is that it has something to do with the position of the file size within the label.

Perhaps XnView only checks the first field and suppresses the entire label row if the first field doesn't match the file type.

Almost... "File size" works, but any "Custom" size (<Size KB> or <Size auto>) doesn't work, even if it's the only item there.

Yes, because all fields are not here... You'll have something like "0x0 - xxxxxxx KB"
