I have 100's of Canon G2 images that were inadvertently shot at (a very noisy) ISO 400.
The ISO value I defined for the thumb label does not display the Canon ISO values because, instead, the Canon ISO is in the Makernotes field called ISO Value.
I would like to identify all of the Canon images where the Makernotes.ISO Value field is 400 (in order to "denoise" them).
Unfortunately, there is no "Makernotes" section for the thumbnail label definitions and no MakerNotes section in the Search dialog, either.
Help!!!
(I can also find the correct ISO value in the EXIFTool.Makernotes.Camera ISO field displayed in XnView MP, but there is no "EXIFTool" option for either the MP thumb labels or the MP Search dialog...)
XnView desperately needs a robust filtering mechanism. It would be great if I could write an SQL query for this purpose...
How to display Makernote values in thumb labels?

You would like to use 'search' dialog with makernotes?JohnFredC wrote:OK, but how to search MakerNotes?

All metadata should be available for searching. It is OK if XnView issues a warning when the search process will take a long time (for whatever reason).
