BLP Conversion to PNG leaves black background

Hello,

I am in the process of designing my own website for our WoW guild and am using xnview to convert the BLP files from the WoW folder to PNG. I have found that all BLP with a transparent background always gets converted to black backgrounds instead of staying transparent.

Why is this and is there a way to prevent this?
