Creation of high quality thumbnail images (cont'd)

Post by mrwul »

Further to http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.p ... ils#p78625

I let XnView create thumbnails, but once it encountered a file named .abr it stopped and could not be closed down.

Cud only close it using the TaskManager.

Understand it can't handle .abr files (?) but I can't exclude files, or only have XnView cache certain filetypes ?

Any suggestions ?

I am not sure.. I have excluded ABR but XnView still scans that folder and hangs on a particular abr file.
Have tested this a few times, each time again deleting xnview.db and starting all over again.
Have now moved the folder with abr file elsewhere and will see what will happen, rescanning all.

Just wanted to let you know...
