The way applied effect looks on original image and in "After" area of Effects tool window may differ. Especially when applying to right-mouse-button selection of large images. It may be better observed with Waves, Mosaic, Spread effects.
I don't see a problem here, because always is possible to move Effects tool window aside and see the real result (if "Apply to image" box is checked), therefore i'm not posting to Bugs forum. But i'd like to know official point of view. Is it "the way XnView works, get on with it" or "yeah, it's a small non-dangerous bug".
