MP 0.31 Win: Max entries (recent files) not working

Hi,

after some tests I just properly noticed that this feature is not working. I mean the feature in where we can set max number of 'recent files' to display;

To reproduce;
=go to settings>interface> [recent files]
=set the max number to a low number let's say '4' and then press ok
=in the viewer, individually open more than those '4' image files in the viewer
=If you check the 'recent files' list you will notice that more than '4' last files is displaying in the list and this should not be.

If a user is to set the max number to '4' then what should expectedly happen after opening 4 or more files is that 4th earliest recent file should dissapear and keep disapearing as the list goes downwards and more files are opened. This is how normal 'recent files' menu's work.
