Middle click in browser doesn't always work or crash...

I have XnView set to start in browser view without tabs. When just starting up XnView, the first attempt at middle clicking on an image in the browser doesn't always work. Middle click is to view image in fullscreen but sometimes it doesn't do anything [except select the image] or causes XnView to crash [not responding]. When it doesn't work, one way to fix it is to left click off the image and try again. Another way to prevent the problem is to click the blank space in browser before middle clicking on image. Can this be fixed?

BTW: I have noticed this bug for a long time but haven't reported it until now. I'm now using XnView 1.97.8 on Windows 7 x64. But it has been happening since many previous versions and on Windows XP.

btw: i also have preview pane turned on in browser [in case that makes any difference].

I can't recreate problem. Just a guess: try a different mouse.

i have it setup to start in browser mode. but sometimes after startup, i middle click on a thumbnail to view it and it can sometimes cause xnview to crash.

I don't have crash, but a good test might be to see if problem occurs in viewer's fullscreen. Ex:

Options... General>Keyboard/Mouse>{Switching Modes}>
Use double click to switch between:
[__ Browser>Fullscreen>Viewer __]
Use middle mouse click to switch between:
[__ Browser>Fullscreen>Viewer __]
Use Enter to switch between:
[__ Browser>Fullscreen>Viewer __]

still happens in 1.98.2. more often happens with large files, such as those of a several MB--maybe because those files cause a longer delay to show up in the preview pane thus interfering with fullscreen loading.
