Animated Gif Looping in Slideshow

Hi everyone,

I have been on a quest for a program that will display animated gifs as a screensaver that will also resize the gif to fit the screen. Xnview works amazing and even resizes the images to fit whatever screen it is running on(Something irfanview does not do!) However it only plays the gif sequence ONCE. Is there anyway to have the gif loop during the slideshow?

Any help is appreciated.

Sorry to revive a really old topic, but I just noticed this behavior myself. It's not a huge issue, obviously, but it would be quite nice if animated GIFs exhibited the same behavior in slideshow mode as they did in normal view mode in terms of looping.
