File format could not be determend

Here is my issue.

I had a cdr full of pictures. For some reason it stopped working. It showed that 600mb of space was used but I could not see the files.

I used mini tool recovery to find the files. It worked I believe. But it only found the files in RAW. I am still not 100% sure what that is. I tried a few programs and they both say file format couldn't be determend. The files are named like this pic's\RAW Files\JPEG Camera file\. What do I need to do to be able to read these pictures.

Dumb it down as best you can.
