while using the Trash in Linux, once a file with the same name is in the Trash folder already, deleting is blocked.
Example:
Two folders "Summer 2009" and "Summer 2010" each contain a file with the name "Flight.jpg". Trash is empty.
Deleting "Flight.jpg" from "Sumer 2009" moves the file to Trash. Deleting "Flight.jpg" from "Summer 2010" is now blocked.
After emptying Trash, "Flight.jpg" from "Summer 2010" can be deleted.
