Slide Show does not start

Hello,
I have a problem with the Slide Show.
On my PC there is the "Admin" account and a user account with reduced rights I usually use for all kind of work.
Under both accounts the slide show in XN View (version 1.95.4) always worked well.

Due to reasons not related to XN View I had to delete the user account from my PC and to create a new one.
Now I can use XN View under both accounts but in the user account with reduced rights the Slide Show does not start any more.
After click on the "Start" button an additional icon appeares in the Windows task bar which shows the beginning of the path to the pictures to be displayed but it is not possible to switch to this window.
Under the "Admin" account all works well like before, also the Slide Show.

The pictures to be displayed are not in "Own pictures" but in a separate folder in "C:\Data\pictures\....".
The user with the reduced rights has full access to these files (files can be deleted, moved, copied using the Windows Explorer).

Who can tell me what to do for the Slide Show to start correctly with the new user account ?

Hello Pierre,
yes, if I give Admin rights to the newly created user the Slide Show works well.
Only if the user has reduced rights (but this is why I want to use this account) the problem with the Slide Show occurrs.

I can't reproduce, i've tested on Xp SP3, and no problem with guest account
You have installed XnView by setup? ZIP? xnview.ini in user settings folder?

Hello Pierre,

if I remember right installation was by setup.
xnview.ini is located in C:\programme\xnview\, not in "Documents and settings" of the user the problem occurrs with.

Would it make sense to install Xnview again (latest version) to solve this problem ?
If yes, do I have to de-install my Xnview version before or is this spart of the installation process ?

yes, try to have the xnview.ini in 'Document settings'
