Use of 2nd display/monitor cannot be disabled!

Hello there,

I'm using XnView 1.97.8 on Win XP SP3.

For some time I found it quite nice to have the XnView browser on one monitor and a fullscreen preview on my 2nd one.

Now I want to disable this feature, but XnView won't let me!
I can uncheck the Options>view>fullscreen>Dual Monitor,Use second monitor (browse & slideshow)
But the 2nd monitor still shows the current picture. And when I exit and restart XnView, the same option is checked again.

I tried saving the options to the registry and to the ini file: Always the same behavior
The ini files switches to

[Full]
BackColor=0
DualMStretch=0
DualMUse=1

all on it's own.

Please help.

Quand je clique simple sur la vignette, l'image ne s'affiche pas sur le second moniteur. Mais dans les options la case est bien aussi cochée.
Je ne comprends pas pourquoi cette case se coche automatiquement maintenant.

[Edit] Ah tiens, elle ne se recoche pas.
Bon, je vais remettre tous mes paramètres au fur et à mesure et voir ce que ça donne.

[Edit2] Ok, il y a une option dans la section [Browser] qui entre jeu dans le problème, je vais chercher laquelle.

[Edit3] Ah ben voilà, j'avais oublié cette option tout bêtement : FullPreview=0 Si elle est à 1, ça remet DualMUse=1.

For the English speakers:

This is dependent on the Browser settings and the setting will revert if you don't change it elsewhere.

To disable use of the 2nd monitor, go to Tools/Options, then under Browser/Preview, you'll see "Use fullscreen on second monitor for previewing".
Disable this setting first, and then you can permanently disable View/Fullscreen/"Dual Monitor, Use second monitor (Browser & Slideshow).
