Targa images in Thumbnail view

I have 24 bit targa images with a number extension (12345.1) these images are used for all space management software, the image shows up in the preveiw but do not show up in the thumbnail view. Is there a setting i need to use to view these? I have used control H and that only shows the image in the preview window. Will XN view be able to read an image with a number extension.

Do you have unchecked Option/Filelist>Misc - Recognize by extension?
