Fit image to windows

I would like that XnView fit every image (no matter the size) to the window but I select "fit image to windows" and only works for the current image since when I continue navigating trough the folder some small images are not fit to the window, any idea how to solve this. I tried all options on View=>Auto Image Size. I'm using Xnview 1.97.8 on Win7 32bits.

I cannot recreate problem. There are also seperate settings in Options... View>Fullscreen and Menu... Preview depending on how image is viewed.

Thanks you marsh, selecting "fit image to windows" from View>Fullscreen works fine, meaning that it apply definetely this view mode for all images. Otherwise the option in the menu view "auto image size" only works for the current picture.
