Like in subject - "Del" keyboard shortcut for deleting didn't work when browsing files in view mode.

Check the keyboard shortcut for View mode in Settings.

OK, I didn't have set a shortcut for 'Delete..." in "View mode". Default for this in none as I see. But even if I set this, it still didn't work. Odd...

OK, it's a bug.

Another, probably related bug, in viewer - menu - file - the following items are unavailable, greyed out:

copy to
move to
delete
rename
